This quote has been in my Gmail signature since I moved to the US in 2007. I heard it in a speech someone gave in my very first business honors class at Ohio State and even though I can’t tell you who reference it, it resonated with be because of it’s emphasize around living a well-rounded life. This quote reminds me that even though having a successful career is an important priority for me, keeping in perspective what it means to be successful and how you get there matters as well.
