“You know what happens when you assume…”

I used to be a fairly (albeit quietly) judgmental person; I would look at someone and quickly assume that they were “this kind of person.” As I’ve grown up, I’ve learned and have come to expect, love, and appreciate that people are not the assumptions we make about them. I want to always keep this in mind when I feel myself start to put a judgment on someone or assume that I know what they’re going to do or say about something.
