I will never forget hearing these words as I begrudgingly washed my Mom’s car with my Dad in our driveway as a 10-year-old. Over the years, the idea has stuck with me. Everything I do and produce, no matter how insignificant it might seem, represents my values. I seek to be a consistent and reliable friend, worker, and family member. Rather than slacking on things that I do not consider important to my self-interests, I hope to be the kind of man who, when he commits to a given task, does it to the best of his ability.
“Take pride in everything you do, even the little things.”
