“Do the little things, the right way, every single time.”

Manager

A boss told me this when I was washing golf carts at one of the country’s most prestigious golf clubs during the summer after sophomore year of college. If a person can be disciplined in doing their best work at something as seemingly insignificant as the technique used to wash a dirty golf cart, it will build a foundation of work ethic that will allow them to be doubly successful when real consequences are at stake. Never take short cuts and be accountable. Think about the greater purpose and why a particular task is needed to promote success of the greater team effort.
