“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.”

Lao Tzu (circa 6th to 5th century BC) ― Chinese philosopher

In Hong Kong I studied a bit of the different Chinese philosophic schools and this phrase is one that really resonated with me. Having to leave my home country I have had to let go of my culture, my expectations and just embrace a lot of what has been offered in other places. So it’s a very important phrase in my life in terms of how to focus letting go of the things, places and people from my past.
