“Carpe diem…and PM too.”

‘Carpe diem’, a popular adage, means to continually ‘seize the day’ and make the most of it. I have always been relatively focused and sometimes have a tendency to take myself too seriously. In turn, my mom adopted the phrase to include ‘PM too’, which was a nod to ensuring that I enjoy both my professional and personal life when the work day ends. This endearing reminder was so important for my mom that on a special occasion she gave me both a necklace engraved with ‘Carpe Diem’ and a bracelet engraved with ‘PM too’.
